This book was amazing. Hearing all the different stories about Chris was awesome. I wish I had the opportunity to know him personally. I still can't believe that he was taken from this world so soon. Reading about the funeral made me feel like I was there as everyone said goodbye to a truly amazing man and hero.Product details

Chris Kyle is a great man! He always will be. This book is a great introduction into what kind of man he really was. Not a super hero, or invincible, but a honest, warm blooded American hero. And this book shows you that given the right values and and led by God, Chris Kyle will be known for a long time to come. RIP Brother!
I have read this book several times....and will continue to do so....and when I am gone....will give it to my son. Only once in anyone's lifetime does a man like Chris Kyle come along. This book was written by the people who loved and fought with him ! History had distorted the lives of some of our truly American heroes over time because there was a time lapse in the documentation. This is not so here....this is a sad but unique occurrence There are "others" who are attempting to write similar accounts of our recent series of wars in the "Middle East" and I do not discount their contribution to our freedom. Chris Kyle's own writings, and subsequently those contributions by his wife ,Taya , and Team members who fought alongside him, are truly a reflection of what makes our country great.and historically everlasting.
Read this book and be proud of what this man has done for his country.
Intrigued with the American Hero, the prolific sniper, the gracious personality seen on reality television shows. This book gave a look at how Chris Kyle became who he was by staying faithful and grateful to God, Country and Family. He was someone I wanted to hear about because his presence was so humbling for such a person of the many hats he wore.

People need to read this book and then see the movie..A lot of people called him a murderer and a terrorist..This is not true.. People need to read what he went through..He was fighting terrorist (ISIS ).. He was over there to protect other soldiers.. When he came home he felt that he needed to be there to protect his brothers in arms.. No one likes wars except the ones who's making money off of it..the government makes money..don't think they don't..The soldiers called him a legend which he hated, he was there to protect..After you read the book watch the movie.. Clint Eastwood did a excellent job on making the movie.. It showed what Chris was feeling, how he felt..He did not enjoy killing..but he had a job to do..Don't judge Chris just because the left did.. Read the book, it was well written and then make up your mind..Read with a open mind..These soldiers are fighting for our freedom, which is coming to America and other countries.. Remember FREEDOM ...EXCELLENT BOOK !!!!
An interesting biography about the most famous seal sniper in navy history. Short and informational, this tells of the personality and post service life of an exceptional man. Excellent read.
Insight into a true American Hero, so sad that his life was cut short! With all the problems we face in our Country it is easy to become demoralized -- reading about Chris Kyle gives one inspiration that there are those still out there willing to make the ultimate sacrifice that we might enjoy our Liberty. I met Chris Kyle a month before he died at the Dallas Safari Club International. He was sitting in a booth for the Cataros Whitetail Ranch, ignored by all the adults who either had never read his book or who had read his book and were too awestruck to thank him for his service. He was sitting there drawing cat whiskers on kids faces with a sharpie and the kids were having a ball. It was awesome the way he paid attention to each child. We did shake his hand and thank him for his service, but like the others I was too awestruck to do anything but babble inane pleasantries that probably bored Chris to tears. But I did meet him, I shook his hand, and I will never forget him. A month or so later he was killed. My entire family was grief stricken, we had seem him barely a month before. His funeral was spectacular, Texas did him proud. Taya was so strong, so alone. I went back and read his book again and then yet again. Every time I read it I get something new, every time I cry like a baby. If you want to KNOW what our soldiers do, what the have to endure, and what they give up at home to defend this nation and our beliefs, this is a must read book. Chris was a true American hero. It is not very often in life that one gets to actually meet a hero, but I was blessed to have had that opportunity. Taya is no less a hero, she was the strength behind Chris that made him what he was. America can not do enough for Chris and his family, we owe them all more than we can repay. Consider donating to any cause that helps the families of our fallen heros. Buying this book is one way to make that donation. But look for others, American's can not do enough for our soldiers and their families. See a soldier in a restaurant, buy their meal. Chris was not the first to die, and I doubt he will be the last. Just remember what they do for us and do whatever little things you can for them.
